Event returning for second year running
People on the Isle of Man are being encouraged to attend the 2023 Government Conference which gets underway a week today.
Taking place next Wednesday evening and all day Thursday (20 - 21 September) at the Villa Marina in Douglas, it's described as an 'ideal opportunity to speak to Government Ministers and potentially constituency MHKs'.
The key themes of this year's event are education and skills, finance, budgets and housing and infrastructure.
Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston was asked why it couldn't take place on a weekend, when more people might have been able to attend:
