A 28 year old woman who stole cash and goods has been given a four month prison sentence for theft.
Catherine Rachel Williams of Hazel Crescent Pulrose admitted her part in theft of cash in July from the Dolly Blue launderette and £326 worth of perfume from Lloyds Pharmacy in Castletown.
Her advocate said the defendant had been in custody for three months during which time she had spent her time resolving how to live her life. She had clear motivation now to change, and accept help from the appropriate authorities for her problems.
Mr Moyle ordered that a probation order continue and told her he hoped she meant the contents of a letter which she had sent to him in which she said she intended to change her ways.
