High winds caused some damage around the Island last night.
Police advised motorists to limit non-essential travel due to trees fallling on to roads in the north and west of the Island in particular.
Just before midnight the Department of Transport was called to deal with a tree down on Patrick Road in St Johns.
That road remains closed this morning (Thurs) from the bridge to the Church bends until further notice.
There are no other roads listed as blocked this morning.
