Company behind offshore farm plans will be at Laxey Glen Pavilion
The people of Laxey will have the opportunity to find out more about proposals for a wind farm off the Island's east coast at an event in the village today.
It's the first in a series of gatherings around the Island organised by Orsted, the company behind plans for the Mooir Vannin offshore farm.
The community consultation process will run until the 8th of August when the final meeting takes place in the Bradda Glen Cafe in Port Erin.
Today's event will run from 2pm to 7pm in the Laxey Glen Pavilion, and enable people to engage with members of the Orsted team.
Tomorrow it's the turn of Ramsey. Orsted representative will be on hand in the Courthouse, Water Street - again between 2pm and 7pm.
