Chief minister asked whether consumers would actually see savings
Questions are being asked about whether onshore renewable energy will bring down the price of electricity on the Island.
The chief minister has told Tynwald he believes it would be cheaper.
However, Manx Utilities says while the cost of generating a unit of electricity from wind can be lower, the total system costs for renewable power is expected to be higher.
