Technology for it already exists
A senior forecaster believes it will be to 'large a task' to progress tidal and wave power on the Isle of Man.
Adrain Cowin, from Ronaldsway Met Office, says the Island should look to wind power instead as the technology for it already exists.
He was on Manx Radio's Mannin Line today.

He added temperatures on the Island have increased over the past three decades.
Forecasters have seen a rise of 1.2 Celsius at night and during the day time it's 0.8 Celsius warmer:
