Final chance to have your say about Mooir Vannin proposal
Today, Tuesday 18 November, is the final opportunity for the public to give feedback on the application to develop a major offshore windfarm within Isle of Man territorial waters.
The consultation, which opened in August following the Council of Ministers’ acceptance for examination of the proposal from Mooir Vannin Offshore Windfarm Limited, will close at the end of the day.
Once the consultation period ends, all responses received will be passed to a panel of independent experts.
This panel will examine the proposal in detail, and some contributors may be invited to attend hearings or meetings as part of the examination process.
The government website mima.gov.im provides full guidance, background information, examination updates, and all official documents associated with the Mooir Vannin application.
You can:
-
Download a consultation form and email it to MIMA.Applications@gov.im
-
Pick up a paper form from the 3rd Floor Government Offices, Bucks Hill, Douglas, and return it to the same place
-
Respond directly via consult.gov.im
-
View paper copies of the full application at Douglas and Ramsey Town libraries
With the consultation closing today, this is the last chance for residents and stakeholders to register their views.
