
A 27 year-old Douglas man who fell to his death suffered serious head injuries, an inquest has been told.
Andrew John Piekalns fell through a window at a house in Christian Road, Douglas on December 10.
He wad admitted to the intensive therapy unit at Noble's Hospital but died later that evening.
A post mortem revealed Mr Piekalns died from multiple injuries, suffering massive trauma, and the cause of death was brain injuries, secondary to serious head injuries, including a fractured skull.
He also sustained injuries to his abdomen and pelvis.
Coroner Michael Moyle adjourned the inquest for inquiries to continue and offered his condolences to Mr Piekalns' family.
