MHK calls out 'unfairness' in mechanism
A Manx politician says there can be no more delays reforming the Island's 'unfair' rates system.
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper will ask the Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas for an update on the situation in the House of Keys next week (24 April).
A full report on so-called rates 'modernisation' was tabled for October last year in the Programme for Government, but has yet to materialise.
According to Mr Hooper, it's time rates were judged on more than just the size of a property:

Road closures in place following incident in Hillberry area
Accessible bus stops rolled out across Bus Vannin network
