Projects showcase plans to improve energy efficiency in homes
The Retrofit for the Future competition has announced its winners.
Entrants were asked to submit designs showcasing how existing homes can be adapted to improve energy performance and efficiency, whilst saving costs.
Richard Strivens and Summer Fearnly were the runners-up, fitting energy-efficient apparatus to a Victorian-style property and upgrades to social housing respectively.
Deb Cripps claimed the overall title for her multiple energy-saving techniques, which include introducing a wood burner and argon glass windows.
