The weather conditions seem to have been responsible for an accident on Richmond Hill in Braddan this morning.
Traffic was reduced to a single lane for more than an hour, with vehicles from the south diverted at the Blackboards along the Old Castletown Road to ease congestion.
Inspector Richard Power says it was a timely warning of the onset of winter:
