Police are investigating an incident in which a woman was assaulted on a busy road in Douglas, in the middle of the afternoon. .
It happened outside the McKay store in Market Street, between 2pm and 4pm on Monday (October 11).
The incident involved the woman and one man, and several people are thought to have seen what happened.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to a woman who was parked across the road, and got out of her car.
Another woman with a pram was also in the area when the assault took place.
