Incident happened at crossing near Regent Street this morning
Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit by a car while using a crossing on Douglas promenade this morning (6 January).
It happened at the junction of Loch Promenade and Regent Street at around 9.30am.
The person, who was not injured, was struck by a black estate car - a number of passers-by stopped at the scene to assist.
