A number of men were treated for facial injuries at Noble's Hospital, after what police are describing as 'a violent incident' in the Bottleneck Car Park on Loch Promenade, Douglas
Officers say it happened at 3am on Sunday, and five men were involved.
They say the area would have been busy with members of the public and taxi drivers at that time, and an appeal is going out for witnesses to come forward.
Two men have since been arrested and charged with assault and police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
Anybody with information about what happened is asked to ring 631568 or the anonymous Crimestoppers line, on 0800 555 111.
