Police say a woman using a cash machine at a shop in Central Douglas could hold vital clues as they hunt a robber who targeted the store last night.
At around 9.40pm, the man demanded money from a woman behind the till at Lower Newby’s on Glen Falcon Road in Douglas.
He’s around 5’10” tall, of average build, wearing a light coloured coat over a dark hooded top, dark blue tracksuit bottoms and a balaclava. He’s said to have a deep voice and an eastern European accent.
He threatened her with an electric stun gun before making off – the shop assistant needed treatment for shock.
A woman used the ATM in the shop shortly before the incident and police say they’re keen to speak to her.
