Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was assaulted in Douglas.
She was attacked on Switzerland Road at around 9.50am on Wednesday, leaving her with facial injuries and scratches on her body.
Officers particularly want to speak to a young male wearing dark clothing and a grey woolly hat, who was seen in the area at the time.
They don't believe it was a random incident and think the girl may have known the person who attacked her.
Anybody with information is asked to ring Police Headquarters on 631212, or the anonymous Crimestoppers line, on 0800 555 111.
