
Two men have been arrested following an incident this morning in which one chased the other down a Douglas street, wielding a large knife.
It happened at 6.35am in the Hillside Terrace area when the first man, who was dressed only in a pair of jeans, was chased from a lane at the back of Belmont Terrace towards Westmoreland Road.
Two knives were recovered from the area and police say no other members of the public were involved.
