Man remains in hospital at Aintree
Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious accident over the weekend.
It happened around 6.45pm on Saturday (23) outside the Hawthorn pub on Main Road, Greeba.
The collision involved a blue Suzuki motorcycle ridden by a 28-year-old man from St John's and a blue Mercedes, driven by a 59-year-old Ballaugh woman. Both vehicles were travelling towards Douglas.
The rider of the motorcycle is currently receiving treatment for his injuries at Aintree Hospital.
Officers say they would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision or the lead up to it. Police have also thanked members of the public who assisted the police and ambulance at the scene.
