A court's heard a combination of two drugs may have caused the death of a Ramsey woman.
An inquest at Douglas Courthouse this morning heard traces of methadone and pregabalin were found during a post-mortem examination of 29 year-old Lana Fuller.
Mrs Fuller, of Queen’s Pier Road, was found at home on June 14.
This morning, the court heard Mrs Fuller had a history of substance abuse and initial tests couldn't confirm the exact cause of death.
But subsequent toxicology results showed it was likely her death was caused by the use and abuse of drugs.
Her husband, Richard Fuller, said he'd last spoken to his wife at 11pm on June 13.
Five days later, he identified her body at Noble’s Hospital mortuary.
Coroner of Inquests Jayne Hughes offered her condolences to Mrs Fuller’s family and released the body for funeral arrangements to be made.
She adjourned the hearing pending further investigations.
