A 33 year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself with an electric flex, an inquest has been told today.
Joanne Tennant’s body was discovered at her home in Sumark Avenue in Anagh Coar on September the 18th – although tests showed she could have died anytime over the previous five days.
A post mortem revealed she died from asphyxia caused by hanging.
In releasing the body to allow funeral arrangements to be made, coroner John Needham offered condolences to Miss Tennant’s family and adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed.
