Police appealing for witnesses
A female pedestrian has died as a result of a road traffic collision in Ramsey in the early hours of yesterday morning, police have confirmed.
Officers say it happened between 1am and twenty past, near Auldyn School on Lezayre Road.
The route was closed for some time, between Gardners Lane and Bircham Avenue.
Anyone who can help the investigation is asked to contact police on 631212.
People are also being urged to avoid speculation as the matter is an emotive one for family and friends.
