A man is helping police with inquiries after an incident involving dogs left an elderly woman with extensive cuts and bruises.
It happened in Thornhill Close, Port Erin at 10.45am on Saturday, but officers have only just released details.
Two large dogs approached the woman who fell heavily, sustaining injuries to her face and body.
One of the dogs is said to be chocolate brown, possibly a Labrador, and officers are asking anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
Anybody with information is asked to ring police in Port Erin on 832222.
