Forty-year-old admits possession with intent to supply
A 40-year-old Douglas woman who possessed drugs she intended to give to friends at a party has been granted bail.
But Deemster Montgomerie has told Dawn Neeson of Clifton Terrace she should not take that as an indicator of her likely sentence.
Neeson admits possessing MDMA with intent to supply in August last year, but the court heard she should not be considered a ‘commercial dealer’ and that it was to hand out to friends at a party.
She denied two further charges against her – possessing a controlled drug and possessing criminal property – which have now been dropped.
The case has been adjourned until May 4, to allow a social inquiry report to be prepared.
