Peter Cannell hosts 'The Manx Civil War... if it wasn't for our women'
The Island's role in a global strife for women's suffrage will be explored at a public talk in the west of the Island this month.
Hosted by Peel Heritage Trust, 'The Manx Civil War... if it wasn't for our women' is being delivered by Peter Cannell at the Peel Centenary Centre.
The talk is on Wednesday, 21 October. More information can be found here.
Mr Cannell told Rhian Evans it'll give a short snapshot of events from 1098 - 1881:
