A fifth candidate will contest the House of Keys by-election in Douglas East.
Manx celebrity chef and hotelier Kevin Woodford will bid for the seat made vacant following Phil Braidwood's elevation to the Legislative Council last week.
Mr Woodford stood for the Council a week ago, but was unsuccessful.
He says his intentions, as a potential member of the House of Keys, are unchanged.
The other candidates to have come forward so far are chairman of the Liberal Vannin Party Kate Beecroft, Douglas councillor Colin Cain, secretary of the Isle of Man Communication Workers Union at the Post Office John Joughin, and former managing director of the Sefton Hotel Chris Robertshaw.
Nominations will close on April 27 and the by-election will be held exactly a month later.
