Action promised over village 'eyesore'
The infrastructure minister has promised action over concerns in Foxdale about a site residents say has become a major eyesore.
It's claimed an area on the corner of Mines Road has been left in a dangerous and ugly state, after the department demolished a building in a scheme to improve visibility.
Phil Gawne says its work at the former Tackle Box premises is only temporary and further improvements are in the pipeline.
Patrick Commissioners have accused the DoI of planning breaches and called for immediate action to complete the job properly.
Voters in Foxdale have been raising concerns with candidates in next week's Glenfaba by-election, David Talbot and Geoffrey Boot.
