Infrastructure ministers says DoI is working to secure dredging vessel
Work to tackle a build up of mud in Douglas harbour will continue into the summer months.
A dredger spent several days working in the port last month after the Manxman got stuck while berthing, but several sailings last weekend had to be moved due to the tidal conditions.
Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood says her department is in the process of arranging for a different type of dredging vessel to tackle the issue.
She told Manx Radio tackling the area has proved challenging:
