
Work on the new baggage handling and x-ray machines at Isle of Man Airport will start next month.
That's after Tynwald approved the £3 million scheme yesterday (Tues)
Ronaldsway faced losing it's Airport Domestic Status unless the equipment was in place by 1st September this year.
That would have had consequences for travellers with hold baggage as the U.K. would have viewed Manx passengers as a security risk.
