DoI says it's working to minimise disruptions
The infrastructure minister says his department has been in dialogue with the northern local authorities in respect of the Northern Civic Amenity Site.
It follows a question by Ramsey MHK, Lawrie Hooper, asking about the progress towards the continuity of the facility.
In a written answer, Tim Crookall says options are being considered and it is hoped that an arrangement will be reached that will provide greater operational stability.
He adds the department is in the process of procuring an operator for the site following the conclusion of Ramsey Town Commissioners' operating period later this month.
It's expected there will be a short changeover period between the operators, and the minister says the DoI is working to minimise disruptions.
