Noble's also gets £195,000 skate park
Work has begun on a new aquatic play attraction for Noble’s Park.
Mayor of Douglas, Debbie Pitts, took control of an excavator during the ceremonial "ground breaking" for the £188,000 feature, which is due to open on May 4th.
A £195,000 skate park is also due to open in the summer and Douglas Borough Council hopes the two attractions will draw visitors from across the Island to the park.
Regeneration and community committee, chairman Stephen Pitts, says the new attractions demonstrate the council's commitment to develop Douglas’s reputation as a destination and increase the range of its tourism attractions.
