Area to remain closed to the public until the work is completed
Work to tackle damage caused at Archallagan Plantation by recent storms is to get underway next week.
The recent bad weather caused widespread issues with fallen trees in the Isle of Man’s many glens and plantations.
DEFA's forestry team says the use of large and specialised vehicles such as harvesters, forwarders and timber lorries will make the area hazardous.
As a result, the woodland will remain closed to the public until the work is completed.
The team has thanked the public for their cooperation.
