Temporary festive venue comes with parking
The foundations of an ice rink have started to be laid in Douglas.
The temporary site is being set up on the currently-unused Lord Street car park.
Plans are in for it to be in place from today until 31 January - however a final planning decision has yet to be officially made.
Conditions of the venue's planning application mean parking will be available on the site for the first time since it was closed off by the DoI for redevelopment at the beginning of May.
It is due to operate daily from 10 in the morning until 10 at night.
