Rushen MHK Juan Watterson says he is looking for strong leadership from the chief minister to steer the Island through the financial troubles it faces from April next year.
He wants Tony Brown to set up three working groups to look at the structure of the Manx Government, and its income and expenditure.
Mr Watterson says they should include members of the business community and other key individuals, as well as politicians.
However, he says action is needed now:

£41K spent on encouraging people to shop local
Baton of Hope to come back to Isle of Man
CoC 'keen' for continuity of sidecar racing at TT
2026 Manx Grand Prix to begin today
