
Firefighters in a specialist rope rescue team had to help a workman who’d fallen through scaffolding in Port St Mary this morning.
The incident happened at a seafront property in the village at 11.30am, when the man fell through a ladder access and was trapped.
Paramedics administered first aid and fire crews from Douglas and Port St Mary helped to rescue him.
He was taken to Noble’s Hospital by ambulance but his condition isn’t yet known.
