The Mountain Road will be closed until lunchtime today (Thursday), after a landslip on the Mountain Mile.
Around twelve feet of mud spread across the road yesterday afternoon.
Workers from the Department of Infrastructure had to delay clearance work until today, because of poor weather and visibility.
The stretch of road from Ramsey Hairpin to the Bungalow is expected to reopen at midday.
