Quayle says Liverpool lab offers the best service for Manx coronavirus analysis
Support from world class genomics experts available at a lab in Liverpool can't be replicated on the Isle of Man.
That's according to Chief Minister Howard Quayle, who was asked why Manx coronavirus results aren't analysed on Island after a local scientist offered to process samples for free within 48 hours.
Genomics testing shows which strains of coronavirus are present on the Island and helps identify transmission chains.
Mr Quayle insists the service provided in Liverpool is the best available:

'Too early to tell' what caused fire
Firefighting foam may have killed fish in Silverburn River
