Business boost despite time difference
The FIFA World Cup 2026 is providing a welcome boost for hospitality businesses on the Isle of Man despite the time difference.
A number of venues are staying open later, and into the early hours of the morning, to show the football matches.
It means they’re seeing footfall well outside normal hours.
Andy Saunders is the chairman of the Licensed Victuallers Association - he told Manx Radio it’s not the only sport helping trade.
