Event features new gigs and venues this year
A celebration of world music, culture and food takes place on the Island this coming week.
The second Our Island, Our World festival takes place around Peel on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 August with music, food and dance.
One of the festival's founders, Dave McLean, says the original idea was to try to bring more world music to the centre, and encourage local people to connect with other cultures.
He says this year's festival has been expanded with several exciting new gigs and venues:
Concert tickets are available from centenarycentre.com, Celtic Gold. Corlett's the jewellers, Shakti Man and Thompson Travel.
