QEII High School says the vast majority of students got into their first or second choice universities
A Manx school says the majority of its students received the A Level results they were hoping for.
It's amid concerns there could be fewer clearance places for those who haven't achieved their predicted results.
Admissions service Ucas is predicting financial pressures will mean universities are more likely to accept students who drop a grade or two.
But Head of Sixth Form at QEII High School, Stephen Slack, says it hopefully won't be an issue for most of their students:
