Worries that those in need will suffer in silence
The Vice Chairman of Age Concern Isle of Man says the charity is extremely worried about the plight of the Island's elderly, in the face of soaring costs for energy and basic foodstuffs.
Christopher Barr is urging anybody experiencing problems to speak to the charity. He says many older people are too proud to come forward and seek help, but there are ways in which Age Concern can make their plight easier.
He's concerned that there are elderley people on the Isle of Man who are suffering in silence.
