A Ballasalla man has secured political intervention in a campaign to ensure his father receives the World War Two medals he says he was promised.
Eddie Power, a Malew commissioner, wrote to the prime minister on behalf of his 91-year-old father Richard, and the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office is now working to try and resolve the case.
