Some patients at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital will have to travel to Noble's for x-rays.
A technical fault means a reduced service is currently being operated until further notice.
For patients unable to make their own way to Douglas, an ambulance will be provided.
The Department of Health and Social Security hopes the full service can resume as soon as possible.
