Father Christmas will be trying a new form of transport this year, as Douglas Borough Council runs special 'Santa Trams' along the promenade, for the first time.
Councillor Stephen Pitts says it's something the council has thought about doing for several years, and he hopes the service proves popular (play audio file):
The trams will operate on December 19, 21 and 22.
