Individual had permission from track and trace, say police
A crew member of Sailing Yacht A was allowed to come ashore yesterday due to a medical emergency.
Police says the teams involved followed the correct procedure and had been granted permission by the Isle of Man's track and trace teams.
Police declined to give further details regarding the situation but say every precaution was taken to assure it was Covid-safe.
The Isle of Man Government says the health service will provide emergency treatment to anyone requiring 'urgent medical attention' with appropriate exemptions and safeguards in place.
The vessel has been anchored in Douglas Bay since Sunday and reportedly costs around £360 million.
