Douglas lifeboat was launched in the early hours of this morning after a yacht lost its mast in heavy seas off the Island's east coast.
The vessel, with one person on board, was on its way from Beaumaris to Douglas when it got into difficulty at about 3.30am.
The lifeboat towed the yacht into Douglas about four hours later.
The crewman was fine.
