Tower Insurance sponsors new initiative for Autumn term
Year 12 students around the Island are to be trained in mental health first aid.
Manx Minds will teach 175 students across the high schools.
One of the scheme's instructors, Ali Vondy, says it's an issue that's been made worse over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic:
Manx Minds has received sponsorship from Tower Insurance for the project.
Josie Corrin is director of pastoral care at Ramsey Grammar School.
She says it's something students have called for and hopes future provisions don't require private sponsorship:
Three-month wait for state pension forecast statements
OFT to investigate possible regulation of funeral directors
"One of the Island's foremost champions of Manx heritage" to receive Tynwald Honour
No timeline yet for reinstatement of rehab service to north
Venezuela Fury & Noah Price wedding "a true showcase of the breadth and quality of Manx services"
