A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping will come into place from 11am to 2pm today (27 September).
Forecasters at Ronaldsway say strong south to southeast winds will combine with spring tides, resulting in minor overtopping of waves, spray and debris onto coastal roads and promenades.
The areas most impacted will be Douglas Promenade, Laxey Promenade, Ramsey Promenade, the western part of Shore Road Rushen, Derbyhaven and, to a lesser extent Castletown prom.
