High tides expected to cause waves and debris along exposed coastal routes
A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping is in effect this morning (3 November) and will remain in place until just before midday.
The warning is in place from 7.15am until 11.15am.
Forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office say high tides are expected to generate large waves, which may result in seawater and debris being washed onto exposed coastal roads.
Areas most at risk include Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown Promenade, the northern end of Douglas Promenade, and, to a lesser extent, Laxey and Ramsey Promenades.
