Temperatures set to fall close to or slightly below freezing
A yellow weather warning will come into place at 9pm tonight (9 December) for frost and ice.
Ronaldsway Met Office says road surfaces temperatures are expected to fall close to or slightly below freezing.
The warning will remain in place until 11am tomorrow (10 December).
The areas which are most at risk include higher ground above 1000 feet as well as sheltered low-lying spots in central, western and southern parts of the Island.

The Department of Infrastructure will treat the following roads from 6.30pm:
- Crosby to Ballacraine
- Ballacraine to Michael
- Peel to Michael
- Peel to Dalby
Other routes will be salted by on-call teams if it becomes necessary.
