May lead to surface water flooding in prone locations
A yellow weather warning will be in place this weekend for heavy rain.
An area of rain will move in from the west overnight into Sunday, turning persistent and heavy at times before clearing through on Sunday afternoon.
We're told to expect accumulations of 15-25mm in most places and up to 25-50mm on higher ground.
This may lead to surface water flooding in prone locations, especially where drains are blocked from fallen leaves.
The warning will be in place from 1am to 2pm on Sunday (19 October).
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue service has issued some advice about how to prepare for the weather.
They say you should never drive through floodwater, allow extra time if you're travelling tomorrow and clear drains and gutters around your home to prevent blockages.
